thick-skinned
i realized tt i'm quite insensitive, not observant enuff abt many things happening arnd me (especially concerning feelings). many examples of my insensitivity. like how i'm one of the last in class to noe abt the jman-bosnia romance. like how i actually thought boo was quite cheerful when i talked to him yesterday. like how david said sth abt some new romance in class n i was totally "huh? really?" abt it. like how i didnt suspect at all tt mh liked jman (tho i was sensitive enuff to noe tt jman didnt really fancy mh). yea... n the list goes on. oh n like how i only blog abt soccer n dota n nothing else sensitive or thoughtful at all. so boring rite.
ya... n while jman was enriching himself with tt book, i was my usual self (away at junny's hse playing xmen legends 2 on the ps2). i'm such a thick-skinned slacker. played nightcrawler cuz i like humji heroes. then i teleported into the endless abyss twice. the effect was quite cute tho... all u see is the trailing nightcrawler tail n a KO floating above it. lol... really cracked us up. was oso quite hilarious watching josh dispatching each xmen trivia question with ease.
was my usual slacky self again today... woke up real late then went for lunch n the rsaf seminar. i wanna be a pilot! soso cool, n i juz fulfill the minimum requirements of myopia less than 500 in each eye. n i passed the computerised pilot test le, so that's 1 less hurdle to potentially trip me up. there was this uber enthu parent who kept asking questions (selfish questions somemore, cud tell he didnt give a damn abt the noble cause abt defending our sacred homeland). so sian diao, but then oso got hilarious moments too. like this question...
Q: Is it possible to be a pilot if i am colour-blind?
A: NO... simply because the sky is blue, the ground is green. if u cant tell the difference btw the 2, u r in awfully big trouble as a pilot.
