went for bio remedial today, mainly in the hope of making my mornings more fruitful. an average morning wud be sth like: wake up at 8, have breakfast, maple for a while, read newspapers, n b4 u noe it it's time for lunch. this morning was more fruitful than most, but only slightly. and tt's only bcuz i only found out today tt a huge chunk of evo notes is out of syllabus! pretty much guessed much of bio notes is out of syllabus b4, especially when u consider evo is like 70pages or more while physics capacitance is a grand 4 or 5 pages. talk abt contrast huh?

anyway, later we had lunch at thai noodle house. there's this huge bunch of ny girls yakking away. from wad i remember, it was mainly this alpha female doing most of the talking. or maybe it seemed that way because she spoke both fast and loud. and "loud" doesnt mean testosterone-charged booming loud, in this case it meant ... urgh cant think of a word for it. oh well but it reminded me of my mom's voice when she got really mad (so u more or less get the idea). then their only topic was on their council elections. wow, wad a topic to get excited abt. b4 going on, a disclaimer 1st, i was NOT eavesdropping. the volume of their conversation juz simply BEGGED to be heard. so not my fault k? then they were going on and on with their analysis of each candidate. and from my impression, they seemed to haf got the lowdown on every candidate. they more or less know any wrong/mistake the candidate had committed in her past 10 years, and in short were very concerned abt the political climate in ny. a typical sentence in their conversation was littered with controversy, ironies, n other juicy bits. very entertaining.
